GOVERNMENT-BASED DISPUTE RESOLUTION Not all disputes are between single individuals or organizations. In fact, many involve larger groups. For example, arbitrations can involve many thousands of individuals who have disputes with a company or government entity over a product or service. Resolving such complex disputes through traditional legal channels can be expensive, time-consuming and, ultimately, unsatisfactory to all parties involved. The American Arbitration Association administers a variety of state-mandated dispute resolution programs. These include accident claims and disaster recovery claims mediation programs. |
