Labor Arbitrator Jesse Simons Dies July 17, 2006 -- Jesse Simons, who was instrumental in bringing the collective bargaining process to New York City and its municipal labor unions through his relationship with the American Arbitration Association, died of heart failure in his home in the city on July 8. He was 88 years old. New AAA Employment Rules Provide Important Options, Increased Flexibility June 30, 2006-- After a lengthy and comprehensive review process, the AAA's Employment Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures (formerly the National Rules for the Resolution of Employment Disputes) were finalized and made effective as of July 1.
