ENERGY ADR SERVICES

The global energy industry is dynamic, involving considerable expenditures and a large number of participants in any given transaction. In light of this, companies operating in this industry generally would benefit from the cost and time savings in resolving appropriate industry disputes using alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

The American Arbitration Association (AAA) provides energy industry organizations with fair, quick, cost-efficient--and private--resolution options.

The AAA maintains a distinguished National Energy Panel of neutrals with a wide range of expertise in the technical, legal and financial aspects of the industry. Their experience in energy dispute management includes:

- General regulatory and FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) proceedings,

- Emissions trading,

- Finance contracts,

- Rate-related issues (regulation permitting),

- Pricing, supply and royalty agreements,

- Operation and management of energy facilities, and

- Production, transportation, marketing and sales of energy resources.
