DISASTER RECOVERY CLAIMS RESOLUTION SERVICES CONSUMER AND SMALL BUSINESS CLAIMS For consumers and small businesses that have been affected by disasters, natural or otherwise, the AAA offers its Disaster Claims Mediation program to resolve disputes with insurance providers for disputed homeowner and property claims of all amounts and business claims for amounts up to $75,000. This program is not mandated by local, state or federal government agencies or by insurance carriers, but is offered to help clients work toward resolution when a dispute regarding an insurance claim arises. A special panel of mediators has been established to assist with these cases. If you are a consumer or small business and have a disputed insurance claim, please contact your insurer directly, as this program requires that all claims be filed through your insurance company.
