The American Arbitration Association® (AAA®) welcomed 22 new professionals to its Employment/Workplace Panel between January and July 2026, adding experienced neutrals with a broad range of backgrounds in employment and workplace dispute resolution. The addition of these neutrals strengthens a panel designed to provide employers and employees with access to panelists who understand both the legal issues and workplace dynamics that can shape employment disputes.
What AAA Employment/Workplace Panelists Bring to Complex Disputes
The AAA Employment Panel includes experienced attorneys, practitioners, and former judges with extensive knowledge of employment law and workplace disputes. Panelists bring experience in matters involving discrimination, harassment, wage-and-hour issues, retaliation, restrictive covenants and non-competes, workplace safety, executive compensation, and other employment-related claims.
This breadth of experience is important. Workplace disputes may involve disputed facts and a handful of legal questions, and parties seek neutrals who can resolve those issues efficiently, fairly, and with an understanding of the complexities of today’s employment landscape.
AAA’s addition of these 22 professionals reflects its continued focus on maintaining an Employment Panel with the experience and subject-matter knowledge needed to address a changing workplace and evolving employment disputes. By regularly adding qualified neutrals, the AAA works to provide parties with access to panelists with relevant experience across the wide range of employment and workplace matters the AAA administers.
How AAA Employment/Workplace Panelists Are Selected
AAA panelists are selected through a rigorous review process that considers professional accomplishments, subject-matter expertise, and dispute resolution experience, among other qualifications. The AAA routinely evaluates and strengthens its panelist selection to make sure that parties have access to neutral decision-makers with experience appropriate to the matters before them. AAA panelists are independent neutrals and not employees of the AAA.
