AAA-ICDR® Welcomes ICDR Young & International’s New Leaders

New Board Members for ICDR’s Networking Group for ADR Professionals Under 40 Will Serve Three Year Terms

NEW YORK, N.Y.—June 8, 2023—The American Arbitration Association-International Centre for Dispute Resolution® (AAA-ICDR®), the global leader in arbitration and mediation services, congratulates the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) professionals who have been selected to serve on the Board of ICDR Young & International. The organization, sponsored by the ICDR, provides networking opportunities in ADR, as well as commercial and public interest arbitration, for arbitrators and other ADR practitioners who are under the age of 40.

The ICDR Young & International was established in 2004 at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria, and now comprises more than 5,000 members around the world. The organization works with other international and regional associations in the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Members of ICDR Young & International are given the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with their peers, and benefit from the experience and perspective shared by senior arbitration and ADR practitioners at seminars and conferences. The Board members will serve three-year terms ending in 2026, and will prepare and hold events and conferences focused on regional network-building in close cooperation with the ICDR. They will also encourage membership in the ICDR Young & International, raise awareness of the organization in the broader arbitration and ADR community, and organize other networking and professional initiatives.
