Release Summary
Release 1.6 introduces a broad set of new and updated capabilities across the AI Arbitrator Platform, focused on improving navigation, case management, intake workflows, AI-assisted review, and compliance handling. This release also delivers an expanded product selection, enhanced visibility into case details, improved user guidance, and updated branding for a more consistent experience. Together, these updates streamline workflows, improve clarity, and support more efficient dispute resolution.
New Features
Unified Product Selection Experience: Users are now directed to a product selection page after login, where they can view available AI Arbitrator Platform dispute resolution experiences and choose the appropriate option. The product selection experience supports navigation into available products, including arbitration and simulated arbitration options, and provides clear information on the available options before users click through to begin a case or simulation.
Product Switching from My Cases: Users can switch between available AI Arbitrator Platform products directly from the My Cases dashboard. This allows users to move between dispute resolution experiences without needing to log out or restart their session.
Industry Information Visibility: Industry information, such as Construction, is now displayed across key case screens, including the My Cases list and Case Information page. This helps users and administrators quickly identify the type of dispute associated with each case.
Homeowner Information Capture: The intake process now captures homeowner-related information for both claimant and respondent, when applicable. This supports reporting and compliance needs and allows users to review these responses before submission.
Dynamic Case Timeline Due Dates: Case timeline due dates now automatically update based on the completion date of the prior stage. This allows the deadlines to more accurately reflect actual case progress.
AI Assistant Feedback: Users can now provide quick feedback on AI Assistant responses using thumbs-up or thumbs-down controls, enabling the AAA to continuously improve the AI-generated responses.
Improved My Cases List: The My Cases list now includes search, sorting, and pagination capabilities. Users can more easily locate cases by case ID or filer name, organize results, and navigate large case lists.
Enhanced AI Timeline Descriptions: AI-generated timeline sections now include more detailed dated evidence descriptions and citations where applicable, helping users better understand the facts associated with each timeline entry.
Streaming AI Document Q&A Responses: The Document Q&A chatbot now streams responses in real time, allowing users to begin reviewing answers immediately as they are generated.
Improved Timeline Date Entry: The timeline date selector now supports manual date entry along with an improved selection interface, providing the user with greater flexibility when entering dates.
File Upload Guidance: Document upload helper text now displays the file name character limit, helping users avoid upload issues caused by overly long file names.
Award Builder Claim Type Visibility: Award Builder screens (visible only to arbitrators) now display claim type information within award item titles and navigation, making it easier to review and manage claim-related award content.
Position Statement Controls During AI Analysis: Users can no longer delete position statements while AI analysis is in progress on the uploaded position statement document. This helps ensure the information being reviewed remains available until the analysis is complete.
Intake Confirmation Timing Clarity: The intake confirmation screen now uses updated business-day language to better align with expected case timelines.
California Binding Arbitration Intake Controls: Additional intake controls and messaging have been introduced for California-related binding arbitration scenarios. These updates help users understand eligibility requirements and limitations when filing disputes involving California.
Eligibility and Availability Banners: The product selection and File a Case screens now display informational banners outlining current platform availability and limitations, including that the platform is currently only available for monetary claims and that binding arbitration is not available in California.
Standard Footer and Official Links: A standardized footer has been added across application pages, including official AAA social media links where applicable.
AI Arbitrator Platform Branding Updates: Branding has been updated across login, intake, payment, case actions, account settings, documents, arbitrator appointment, non-binding award, page title, navigation, and footer screens. These updates replace legacy DDRC references and provide a consistent AI Arbitrator Platform experience.
SMS Multi-Factor Authentication: Users enrolling in multi-factor authentication can now choose SMS as an authentication method. After reviewing the SMS disclosure, users can verify their phone number and receive authentication codes by text message when signing in.
New AI Arbitrator Platform URL: The AI Arbitrator Platform is now available at its new production URL: aiarbitrator.adr.org. Users should use this updated address to access the platform. The new URL includes cookie preference capabilities for visitors; prior to this update, the platform did not use tracking cookies.
